A Little About Jaxon...

Jaxon is 2 1/2 and busier than ever! It's amazing how quickly kids grow up. He is at such a fun stage right now. Everyday he surprises us by something new he has learned. He is starting to talk more and more (which is making things a little easier since we know what he wants). It's been fun to see what his interests are and to see his personality grow.

Jaxon loves his big brother. When Carter gets out of school or comes home from a friends house Jaxon immediately runs to him and gives him the biggest hugs. Bedtime is taking a little longer now because of the amount of hugs he needs to give to Carter before he is ready for bed. They have such a sweet relationship. Jaxon wants to do everything Carter is doing and for the most part Carter is great at including him.

Jaxon loves trains and we are constantly hearing all about his "choo choo's". He also loves cars, airplanes, tractors, trucks, helicopters, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Baby Jack Jack from The Incredibles and so much more. He loves to be outside and is so fast on his wiggle car.

Jaxon LOVES milk! He has been a pretty picky eater but you can usually count on him eating dinosaur chicken nuggets, hot dogs, rice and ice cream. Oh, and he loves ketchup! He asks for ketchup with almost every meal and as gross as it may be, he will eat it plain with a spoon. Such a crazy and funny boy.

Adventures!

We love to get out of the house and make memories whenever possible. Some of the things we enjoy doing are going out to eat, seeing a new movie, going on walks to the park, playing outside with friends, having lots of BBQ's in the summer, going to our local library, and working in our yard. Both Jordan and I grew up with the opportunity to go on family vacations and that is something we now enjoy doing with our own family. We try to take at least one big family vacation each year and try to squeeze in a couple mini vacations when we can. We love when we are able to take a big family vacation with our extended families. We recently were able to take the boys on a cruise as well as to Disney World. It was definitely one of our favorite vacations! We find this time together strengthens us as a family and it is always exciting to see new places and experience new things.

Our Home

We purchase our home in 2015 and have loved living here! We really lucked out and live by some of the most amazing people. There are so many kids right by us and all summer long you will always find kids riding their bikes, playing tag, jumping on a trampoline and running through the sprinklers. We enjoy having BBQ's with friends and working in our yard. The boys love playing on our swings and enjoy putting a blow up pool at the bottom of the slide.

We recently redecorated Carter's room and put in a bunk bed so Carter and Jaxon can share a room once Jaxon is ready to move from his crib to a big boy bed. Shawnee loves to decorate and had so much fun with both their room and their playroom.
